Most of the emissions occur during the production of the luminaire housings. For our products, we have worked with Signify and myclimate to calculate the CO2-footprint of each individual luminaire and offer the option to reduce the luminaire's CO2 emissions from production to delivery to the installation partner through myclimate.

In 2021, the electricity consumption of public lighting in Switzerland was 319 GWh (source: Federal Office of Energy, Swiss Electricity Statistics 2021).
