Classic mushroom lamp - latest technology
The municipality of Horgen on the right bank of Lake Zurich is also replacing the existing, decorative luminaires from the village square as part of the refurbishment to LED. The decision was made in favor of the classic mushroom luminaire CityCharm Cordoba in elegant dark gray. A luminaire that impresses not only at night but also during the day with its design language. With the use of the warm white light color 3000 K, the village square is illuminated in the early evening hours in a warm light and invites you to linger and stroll.
"We were looking for a luminaire with a similar appearance. It was important that the mounting on the existing booms is possible. At the same time, the lights, like the rest of the lighting in our community, should be able to be controlled with Interact City"
Ignaz Steinegger, network manager EW Horgen
All luminaire types are time-controlled with Interact City - whether the Luma or the retrofit solution (view project report here) of the historic luminaires
The new mushroom luminaires are reminiscent of their predecessors only in their appearance. Equipped with state-of-the-art technology and Zhaga-D4i interfaces, the municipality of Horgen can easily attach Interact City controllers - and dim the luminaires directly via Interact City.
"I am connected by more than 20 years of pleasant cooperation with Dieter Wieser. He is at our side throughout the refurbishment of the approximately 1900 luminaires with a great deal of experience and technical knowledge. About two-thirds we have now managed, the remaining lights will be replaced gradually."
