Solar system with intelligent consumption control
The solar system with 26.2kWp of the family house in Jonen AG allows a high self-sufficiency. In addition, with a battery storage of 24.8kWh, the house is also independently supplied with solar power at night. To optimize consumption, an intelligent energy control system is in use. The software distributes the generated solar energy as optimally as possible to the different consumers (hot water boiler, e-charging vehicles, heat pump). In particular, the PV surplus can be used so efficiently for large consumers such as the heating.
.
Hybrid inverter: emergency power and connection to Solar Manager
The heart of the "solar power plant" is the hybrid inverter, a Solinteg MHT-25K-100. This latest generation hybrid inverter has an emergency power output integrated as standard to seamlessly supply the most important consumers in the event of a power failure. There is also a connection to the Solar Manager, which enables intelligent control and distribution of solar power. For example, to supply the boiler, heat pump and charging stations with solar energy.
Ready-to-use set of battery storage and hybrid inverter
The solar storage solution was delivered by ELEKTRON pre-configured and ready for operation, so that the installers only had to connect it on site.
The following features were convincing:
Large hybrid inverter 25 kW
Integrated emergency power output, whole house 3x40A connected
4 MPPT with 2 strings each (the 61 modules were split between 3 MPPT and 5 strings
Plug&Play: pre-configured system, shipped ready to use
Stackable battery modules, are quickly assembled (see video)
Efficient control with Solar Manager
The intelligent use of generated solar power to cover self-consumption helps reduce environmental impact and demonstrates the potential of renewable energy in the residential sector. The integration of older systems through smart connections represents an opportunity to integrate existing technologies into modern energy management systems, creating a holistic approach to energy optimization.
