The best of both worlds: Automatic data exchange between Interact City lighting control and Inventsys maintenance software
With the new connection from the Interact City lighting control system to the Inventsys digital maintenance software, all luminaire data relevant for maintenance is automatically imported into Inventsys. This eliminates the need for time-consuming, duplicate data entry and minimizes errors. With Inventsys, operators of public lighting systems can also easily plan all maintenance work digitally and document it in compliance with ESTI. A promising combination of two systems that is specifically designed for the efficient operation and maintenance of public lighting.
The combination of the two proven systems minimizes the effort, luminaire data is maintained only in one system eliminates errors through automatic data transmission simplifies processes.
Decision for Inventsys after evaluation of various systems
To complement its Interact City lighting management system, ELEKTRON chose the Swiss solution Inventsys after extensive evaluation of a wide range of resource management systems. The software was developed specifically for the simple digitization of maintenance and servicing of public infrastructures such as water, gas, electricity as well as lighting. Inventsys digitizes the entire maintenance process and has one major goal: to make the daily work of installers and planners more efficient and easier than ever. "The needs of our customers are optimally met with Inventsys, from simple handling to documentation for periodic inspections by ESTI," says ELEKTRON product manager Manuela Thoma.
Fewer errors and time savings thanks to automatic data exchange
The connection of Interact City to Inventsys enables simple data exchange between the two systems. This means that all luminaire information relevant for maintenance, such as model, serial number, light color, operating hours, location information, and dimming calendar, is automatically transmitted to Inventsys.
The right information at the right moment - test phase with pilot customers
Inventsys was designed for work out in the field and specifically geared to the needs of technicians. They need quick and easy access to their jobs and their details, such as locations, checklists, instructions and asset journals - including geolocation and photo documentation.
ESTI-compliant checklists and documentation
Particularly the preparation for the periodic grounding checks by the ESTI inspectors means a lot of effort for most operators. For this reason, Inventsys had electrosuisse create checklists that meet all the guidelines of the Inspectorate for Heavy Current Installations. In addition, the checklists were adapted to the working methods of the installers, as Hannes Bitto (Head Product Inventsys) explains: "We accompanied installers in their daily work to develop the ESTI checklists, so that the sequence of the individual steps could be precisely matched 1:1 to the working methods in practice. Thus, all necessary data for the 5-year checks are already digitally recorded and can be directly shown online or printed out if required. Folders with handouts and Excel lists are a thing of the past.
