The LimeCam system enables mobile light measurement without having to block off the road, because the measurement is carried out during ongoing traffic. The illuminance distribution as well as GPS coordinates and light point height of all luminaires are recorded. The data is continuously stored and evaluated after the measurement.

The camera in combination with the sensors can be used for a variety of applications, from measuring the illumination of streets and public places to industrial and commercial applications.
The LimeCam hardware is equipped with a calibrated Minolta measurement head. The calibrated measurement head is used as a reference by the five standard measurement heads, ensuring accurate data acquisition. To ensure measurement accuracy at all times, the Minolta measuring head is removed at regular intervals and calibrated at the manufacturer's factory. Thus, LimeCam can be used not only for as-built surveys, but also for acceptance measurements.
