With the Luma gen2 luminaire family, Signify (exPhillips Lighting) has launched a highly efficient LED alternative for almost all application areas. In addition to the proven features such as design, functionality and energy efficiency of the popular Luma gen1, the second generation impresses above all with simplified installation, maintenance and recyclability of most components.  The new plug-and-play GearFlex box is uncomplicated to connect and contains all electrical components in a replaceable fully insulated plastic box. Repair and operability of the Luma gen2 have been significantly improved with standard elements and easy access to all components. With the intelligent nameplate of the Luma gen2, all relevant product information, assembly instructions and an overview of spare parts can be accessed directly on site.

In the LED sector, the Luma gen2 sets new standards in terms of economy and energy efficiency. Optimized LEDgine optics with a service life of up to 100'000 hours and various light distributions ensure maximum light output for a wide range of applications. Thanks to optimal light planning and the programmable driver, the Luma gen2 luminaire can be adapted to the respective project requirement. The Luma gen2 is thus suitable for any individual project.

In terms of sustainability, the Luma gen2 luminaire has been designed with the future in mind: thanks to standard SystemReady (Zhaga-D4i), all models of the innovative street luminaires can be connected at any time to lighting management systems such as Interact City, as well as existing and future third-party lighting systems and sensors. In terms of environmental protection and biodiversity, the Luma gen2 makes an important contribution. The special light colors such as 2000K (ClearStar) and 2200K reduce the amount of blue light, making it less conducive to light scattering into the atmosphere.
