Permanently excited synchronous motors
Permanent magnet excited synchronous motors are a particularly energy-efficient solution.
Reducing CO2 emissions is the great challenge of our time. This makes reducing energy consumption the order of the day. Modern, speed-controlled electric drive systems in particular offer the possibility of maximum energy savings here. Permanent magnet excited synchronous motors (PM motors) are a particularly energy-efficient solution here.
They are operated exclusively with frequency converters and are characterized by significantly higher efficiencies (>IE3) and improved partial load behavior compared to asynchronous motors.
For the same size, PM motors can also achieve higher power than asynchronous motors. The pole wheel, which follows the rotating field exactly, makes it possible, for example, to use PM motors in conveyor belts with several synchronously running drives. All designs and a variety of the modifications of the standard motor series are available.
