Vacon 20 CP
The VACON® 20 Cold Plate is a cold plate frequency converter for any size. The unique cooling system enables the reduction of heat losses. Since it does not use cooling fins, it requires a smaller mounting depth. It fits into the tightest space, thus saving control cabinet space and costs.
The VACON 20 Cold Plate has all the features of the VACON 20, including the integrated IEC61131-3 compliant PLC function.
Its key differentiator is its unique passive cooling design, which ensures operation in the most demanding conditions.
The waste heat from frequency converters often has an impact on neighboring machines, especially in the case of compact converters that are mounted in a confined space without sufficient airflow. This problem can be avoided thanks to the special cooling concept of the VACON 20 Cold Plate. The waste heat can be reduced by mounting a heat sink with large cooling fins on the inverter or, alternatively, by using a liquid-cooled solution. You can choose an optimal solution depending on the application.
The VACON 20 Cold Plate installs in no time and can be mounted in tight spaces due to its slim, low-profile design, making it ideal for OEM customers.
