Accessories insulation surfaces
Electrical insulation between components and base cooling surfaces
.This process is used when electrical insulation is required, which must be thermally conductive. The electrical insulation between the components and the base cooling surfaces is achieved with a special silicone. The Vacuum Injection Molding process (VIM) withstands the high requirements in terms of dielectric strength and partial discharge testing, among others. This insulation technology can also withstand not only high thermal and mechanical stresses, it is also immune to long-term effects such as cracking or splitting.
This technology has been successfully used for power electronics and railroad applications for more than 15 years. With excellent vibration resistance (soft insulation material), the solutions are widely used for embedded applications.
