FAQ
What is a boiler control?
.Boiler controls are used to switch boiler systems, for example, to activate the boiler independently of the low tariff control. Boiler controls consist of a control contactor and a switch.
Why is a boiler control useful?
In normal operation, the low tariff control (night connection) is switched through from the ripple control receiver (RSE) closing contact to the ABB ESB25-30N-06 control contactor.
The day switch-on allows the boiler control to be switched on independently of the low tariff control. It is activated with a short keystroke (boiler tag ON, LED illuminated). The day boiler heating can be switched off again with another keystroke. The activated day switch-on is automatically reset at the next control signal of the ripple control receiver (night connection) and the boiler is heated again only during the low tariff time.
.In normal operation, the red lever switch is in the ON position. In the OFF position, the boiler is completely off, for example, during vacation. The LED is red when the day switch is ON and green when the night switch is ON
.Why do you need a boiler control contactor?
With the help of contactors, you can control and activate the boiler remotely. Contactors not only enable faster switching operations, but also provide additional safety.
